Catherine Kioko Kimwele

Country Manager

With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, Catherine Kimwele is a seasoned powerhouse in Kenya’s aviation and travel industry. Her extensive expertise is built on a foundation of high-impact leadership roles within Airkenya at Wilson Airport, where she has consistently driven operational excellence. Catherine’s professional journey includes tenures as Reservations Manager and Operations Manager, culminating in her most recent success as Charters Manager. As Country Manager, Catherine leverages her decades of experience to oversee comprehensive growth and deliver world-class service standards.

Captain Justin Tanui

Head of Operations and Chief Pilot

With over 14 years in the aviation industry and over 6000 hours, Captain Justin has built a career grounded in professionalism, safety, and operational excellence. His aviation journey began at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, where he earned both his Commercial Pilot License and a bachelor’s degree in aviation management. Joining AeroLink Uganda in 2017 as a First Officer on the Cessna Caravan, he rose to Captain the following year. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Safety Manager, strengthening AeroLink’ s safety culture and compliance. Since 2024, as Head of Operations and Chief Pilot, he has enhanced operational efficiency and overall performance.

Alako Mary Brenda

Flight Dispatcher and Safety Manager

Brenda is a seasoned aviation professional with 9 years of industry experience, including 6 years at AeroLink Uganda. She holds a Diploma in Aviation, with certifications in flight dispatch, safety management systems, and instructional techniques, and is currently pursuing a degree in international relations and diplomacy. As Flight Dispatcher and Head of Safety at ALU, Brenda oversees flight planning and leads safety initiatives, including audits and SMS implementation. Her contributions have enhanced operational efficiency, strengthened regulatory compliance, and fostered a safety-first culture—making her a vital force in AeroLink’ s continued excellence.
