River Nile

JINJA‚ located in south-eastern Uganda is famous as the historic source of the Nile and is a vital hub for the safari visitor. Dubbed ‘the adventure capital of the country’ Jinja has a gorgeous natural setting with historic colonial architecture nestled among its modern facilities. Pride of place goes to the spectacular Source of the Nile Bridge‚ opened in 2018‚ which is a vital link in the Northern Corridor‚ a highway across East and Central Africa linking the Indian Ocean at Mombasa to the Atlantic Ocean at Matadi.
